Druids/Senior Product Designer & Design EngineerEnrolment open
Two-week live cohort·Starts Mon 9 Nov

Design.Build.Get hired.

Your design isn't the problem. Your pricing, pitching and positioning are.

A two-week live mentorship to build with AI, find and price clients, and get ready for your next role. From someone who has taught over 500 designers to practise design as a business.

Even if you've never had a client or written a line of code.

3 live classes a week~2 hours each, often longerEvery session recorded118 designers in cohort 1
  • Build with AI: take a design from Figma to a working, deployed build with free coding agents like Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode
  • Find and price clients: get your work seen, write cold emails, build a pipeline of potential clients, and price your projects
  • Research and product analytics: plan research with agents, track what people do with PostHog or Mixpanel, and turn the data into product decisions
  • Prepare for your next role: negotiate salary, get ready for design interviews, and work through design exercises
  • Any level. Entry, mid, senior. The room is mixed on purpose, and the teaching does not change

What this is, from the person teaching it.

One minute, from Druids. If you only do one thing on this page, watch this. If you'd rather read, here's what it covers:

  1. Who's teaching. A senior product designer and design engineer who has spent six years teaching over 500 designers to practise design as a business.
  2. What it is. A two-week live mentorship class: building with AI, finding and pricing clients, and preparing for your next role.
  3. What you'll work on. Getting your work seen, cold emails and a pipeline of potential clients, pricing projects, negotiating salary, and design interviews and exercises.
  4. How it runs. Every session is live and recorded, so you can go back over it when it suits you. $150 (₦200,000) a seat.

Most designers try this. Here's what works.

What most designers try

  • Post on Dribbble and Behance, and wait for a client to notice
  • Apply to listings with a PDF and hope it stands out
  • Quote whatever feels safe, or take whatever's offered
  • Hand over a Figma file and hope someone builds it

What works instead

  • Get your work in front of clients, and pitch them directly with cold emails
  • Build a pipeline of potential clients, so the next project is already in motion
  • Price projects with a method, not a guess, and negotiate your salary instead of accepting the first offer
  • Build it yourself with AI, so what you show is a working product

Taught by someone who designs and builds for a living.

Druids was Head of Design at Socket, where he led product design for SocketScan and Bungee Exchange, helping scale to more than one million users and over $30 billion in transaction volume.

Before that, Founding Designer at Veranta, where he designed a derivatives exchange that has processed more than $120 billion in trading volume.

He works across product strategy, research, interaction design, design systems and engineering, which is why this cohort covers building as well as the business around it.

The agent skills you'll use are already public. You get them, plus the ones that aren't.

118 designers took cohort 1. Here's what they built.

Docora
Learns a brand from any PDF, then restyles your documents to match.
X post by Oluwatimileyin: “There’s a game building pandemic on the TL and I refuse to be left behind. I’ve always loved Family Feud, so I built my own something based on that: Crowd Said. And you can even play solo. btw, @druids01 what a guy.” With a video of the game.
Crowd Said
A Family Feud-style guessing game you can play solo.
X post by Nana-Fatimah: “So I built Afterwatch: a recommendation platform based on your taste, not what’s trending. My mentor @druids01 would be proud.” With a preview of the app.
Afterwatch

X post by Oshoke: “One week into @druids01’s Building with AI class, I built and shipped Skyline. A weather app with current conditions, the next 24 hours, and a 5-day forecast. Built while learning to code with AI.”
Skyline
Weather now, for the next 24 hours and for 5 days, on one screen.
X post by Mark: “After my first class with #druids I had a random idea: what if Tinder, but for Bible-based affirmations? So I built Selah. Built from PRD → research → design → code.”

  • 6 live classes over two weeks. Three a week, about two hours each. They run over when the build isn't done
  • Code, research, product, business, clients and career. One class each, in that order
  • A members' portal with the class material and assignments, in one place

Not included. Said plainly.

  • A guaranteed job. The promise is the capability. What you do with it is yours
  • Content that stays fixed. It changes every cohort because the tools change every month
  • Paid tools. Everything taught runs on the free tiers of the agents

If any of that is a dealbreaker, the free community is a better fit right now. No hard feelings.

What you keep.

Who this is for.

  • You design well, but you don't know how to price your work
  • You've never pitched a client, or you've pitched and heard nothing back
  • You earn in Naira and want to work with clients abroad
  • You're job-hunting, and want to negotiate salary and handle design interviews
  • You want to build what you design, with AI, without learning to code

Not for you if

  • You can't give it about six hours a week for two weeks, live or on the recordings
  • You want someone to find clients for you. You'll leave knowing how; doing it is on you

Four things people ask.

I can't code. Is this for me?
Yes. The build part isn't about writing code: you learn to direct an agent that writes it, from a design you already made. If you can describe what you want and judge whether the result matches, you have the prerequisite. Everything else (clients, pricing, salary, interviews) needs no code at all.
I'm junior / I'm senior. Same room?
Same room, on purpose. Juniors get to watch how seniors think about a problem. Seniors get pushed on tooling they've been avoiding. The teaching doesn't change by level, because the workflow doesn't.
How do I pay? Can I pay in instalments?
Pay $150 by card with Stripe, from anywhere. If you're in Africa, you can pay ₦200,000 locally by bank or Chipper Cash instead, in full or in 2 instalments. Both are on the same checkout.
What if I miss a live class?
You get the recording, shot properly, usually the same day. It goes in the members’ portal with the slides and files from that session. Live is better because you can ask, but nobody falls behind because of one missed evening.
200 seats
$150 a seat, or ₦200,000 if you pay locally in Africa.
Enrolment closes Sun 8 Nov. Class one is Mon 9 Nov.
